Coaxial Connector on GeosatPro GS120 Motor

Has this ever happened to any of you? I was connecting the coaxial cable to the motor when the connector on the motor became loose and pulled out. I can push it back in, but it doesn't feel extremely secure and I'm affraid that a strong wind or dish movement may cause it to pull out. Should I use some kind of glue to secure it back to the motor? It basically pushes into a strong center wire and doesn't seem to screw into the motor itself. Thanks!

If its that loose, is there any assurance that the outer conductor, the ground, is going to make a solid connection to the motor and down the line.

I have no problem getting a signal. I'm just wondering if I should use some type of cement to ensure that it remains in place.

I would call the manufacturer and see if that is a common problem and if it is covered under warranty, if not warranteed I would use two stage epoxy to make sure it stays in place.

Would the epoxy reduce the conductivity factor?

I dont think epoxy carries a current too well, so avoid getting it on the connector threads.

If i cant duct tape it i epoxy it, and if that doesnt work, then out comes the kitty hair (fiberglass resin with imbedded strands)
