Merged them, when I saw how many channels were involved and clicked on uplink thread I had a feeling...
They should honor it. I got $10 off for 6 months and the rep on chat specifically stated that this would be honored even if the channels came back.Best part is that I am receiving $5 off for the next 3 months for a complaint on their Facebook page. I wonder if they will honor it.
Unless they coded it a certain way, it's impractical for them to go back and find the customers who rec'd these credits. Besides, they offered it for three months. If it was an issue, they should have just offered a discount based on what was already "lost". That would make the customer call back and ask for an add'l credit, again, for add'l time lost.Best part is that I am receiving $5 off for the next 3 months for a complaint on their Facebook page. I wonder if they will honor it.
Just wonder what this means for the upcoming TNT/TBS contract
As always, we'll never know.
Great news for subs!Dish and Turner have reached a deal that will bring back CNN and other channels to subscribers, the two companies said Friday.
"DISH Network and Turner Broadcasting announced today that they have mutually decided to restore service of CNN, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, truTV, TCM, HLN, CNN en Espanol and Boomerang, and extend the carriage of TBS and TNT. Dish and Turner will not have any further comment," said the companies in a joint statement.

Just posted in Uplinks and checked the epg. They are back!
I wonder how much it will cost us . . .
Doubt we'll ever know. But I rather think that Turner got minimal increase as they only have 2 channels that give them leverage, well 3 if you count TCM.I wonder how much it will cost us . . .
yeah i like tcm *however i could go to archive.org for old black and white movies to download *which are public domainDoubt we'll ever know. But I rather think that Turner got minimal increase as they only have 2 channels that give them leverage, well 3 if you count TCM.
