iam having problems with closed caption in the new fall tv shows when a show is new the caption are faster than the sound for a cople of seconds it dosnt happen with movies just with the networks tv shows

I'm sorry to hear you are having this issue with the closed caption feature. What model receiver do you have and what software version? Also, can you give me some specific shows or movies you have seen these issues occuring on so that I can do a little futher research? Thanks!

i have a vip 722k and it happens with network shows like modern family but when theres movies in hbo the closed capsion are ok

I find on live show that the captions lag the voices as you might expect for real-time captions.
Our local newscasts except weather, however, manage(?) to show the captions before the audio. Rehearsed?
Movies should be synced to the degree that the director/producer/network wants them to be.
