Chuck most definitely does NOT stink :--)

They must have really bad ratings on celebrity apprentice. They blew both episodes of Chuck in one week on a different night trying to prop it up.

Those last two episodes of Chuck were GREAT! They sure have a winner this season with that show. If they cancel that show I will be extremely disappointed and wonder what is wrong with the network.

NBC is giving a big thumbs-up to “Chuck.”
The network said it has ordered the back nine episodes of Josh Schwartz’s Warner Bros. TV-produced spy comedy, ensuring a full second season of at least 22 episodes of the show.
NBC made the order after viewing the first six episodes of “Chuck’s” second season.

Great news!

Cool, I love this show.....

My only complaint? The time slot..... Chuck, How I Met Your Mother/Big Bang Theory, Sarah Conner Chronicles, Dancing With the Stars....

I could care less about the Dancing show, but that will siphon off most of the female viewers, leaving Chuck and Sarah Connor to fight over the male demographic, with the CBS sitcoms grabbing a bunch as well......

When one or more stumbles, I hope they shift them around the schedule before they ax the show.... I think Journeyman died an early death due to the death timeslot that couldn't beat Monday Night Football..... (Studio 60 died the same premature death a year earlier in the same slot)

My point is that the vast majority of TV viewers DON'T have a DVR and will not watch several of these good shows.....

Networks, contrary to a decade ago, now arbitrarily cancel a show, rather than give it a chance at life in a new time slot in most cases. Journeyman was never given an opportunity to survive, even though it had some hardcore fans. I fear that Terminator and the two CBS sitcoms might get axed if they can't rise above this competition. Dancing With the Stars, emblematic of all that is wrong with lowest common denominator television, will probably wind up winning the time slot, and wind up killing at least one if not all the other shows, although at least NBC gives Chuck a shot by rerunning it on other nights occasionally.

Sigh.
