On a whim, I downloaded the pilot episode of Chuck from last year - you know from when the title of this thread was "Chuck stinks." And I have to say, I enjoyed watching every minute of it. Hoping my request for Season 1 on Blu-Ray is fulfilled by Santa so I can relive the whole season.
Yeap. Who knows what SG was thinking when he started this thread.
S~
Well, the funny thing was I remember watching the preview of the pilot that Dish had put in our "entertainment" dvr slot; and I watched it and really was not that impressed either. But decided to give it a shot, and then within 3 or 4 weeks realized that the show was 1) first a comedy; and 2) actually pretty cool. Now... its at the top of my must-watch list of television every week. And one of the 3 or 4 that I MUST watch on the giant screen.
But yes, Scott must have been smoking some wacky weed.
Another great episode. Too bad there wasn't a Jill-Sarah smackdown, but still great. ANDWatching Big Mike take down the Fulcrum guy was the scene stealer of the episode
One of the background filler plots. Last week we had Casey and his Sensei this week we have Sarah and her father. They are doing the flesh out the character background episodes.
It seems standard formula each actor gets an episode devoted to them, probably part of their contract.
Next will be Chuck and his father.
Yup, definitely coming soon. Lets hope we don't get Morgan and his grandmother.
I like how they threw in some Die Hard humor last night. With the LAPD officer Al outside with a hostage situation eating twinkies. They used a few phrases from the movie sprinkled in the dialog.
LOVED the guest apperance by Carl Winslow, did anyone else feel like him and big mike are actually family in real life? its amazing!
