Chuck most definitely does NOT stink :--)

Another great episode. Too bad there wasn't a Jill-Sarah smackdown, but still great. AND
Watching Big Mike take down the Fulcrum guy was the scene stealer of the episode

On a whim, I downloaded the pilot episode of Chuck from last year - you know from when the title of this thread was "Chuck stinks." And I have to say, I enjoyed watching every minute of it. Hoping my request for Season 1 on Blu-Ray is fulfilled by Santa so I can relive the whole season. :)

Well, the funny thing was I remember watching the preview of the pilot that Dish had put in our "entertainment" dvr slot; and I watched it and really was not that impressed either. But decided to give it a shot, and then within 3 or 4 weeks realized that the show was 1) first a comedy; and 2) actually pretty cool. Now... its at the top of my must-watch list of television every week. And one of the 3 or 4 that I MUST watch on the giant screen. :)

But yes, Scott must have been smoking some wacky weed. :D

We like the show now because we know the characters and how they interact. That is the problem with TV shows, they have to somehow grab an audience with just one show, very hard to do. We now watch the first episode knowing what we know now and can really appreciate what was going on then. If the series had gone another direction (with the same pilot) then SG could have been correct, lucky for us they went in this direction and it turned very entertaining.

I was a bit preoccupied with the SatGuys party while watching, but this seemed to me to be another fairly uninspired episode. The delorean was maybe a little funny, but the episode did not live up to my standards. :)

One of the background filler plots. Last week we had Casey and his Sensei this week we have Sarah and her father. They are doing the flesh out the character background episodes.

It seems standard formula each actor gets an episode devoted to them, probably part of their contract.

Yeah, just not compelling tv.

I like how they threw in some Die Hard humor last night. With the LAPD officer Al outside with a hostage situation eating twinkies. They used a few phrases from the movie sprinkled in the dialog.

Carl Winslow? No! Sgt. Al Powell... from Die Hard! They even kept his exact name from the movie.
