Charter & Sinclair reach agreement!

Charter can now broadcast abc in HD!!! in the past charter in st louis(and elsewhere in sure) could only show abc in sd. i dont know how to do the link thing but our news paper web site is stltoday.com or you can find it at charter.com look under media and news at bottom of home page. it shows a list of what cities well get abc HD. now we need belo(CBS) and we will have all locals in hd!

EDIT: oh by the way, when will abc show up in hd when you turn on your tv ??? well was on hold with charter CSR.....yes you gueesed right. they are still in talks with Sinclair no settlement has been reached yet......and its on there OWN web site.....teach your own workers please!!!

it's hear!!! at least in st louis, we now have for the first tine abc in hd!!! cant wait for lost. as a bonous we now also have espn hd!!! love billards in high def!

What about ESPN2 HD? It was added to our guide data (Tivo, Moxi and others that use Tribune) but hasnt been activated yet.

I noticed that they added ESPN2 here in Eastern Connecticut, but still no ABC HD.

i think st louis might get some stuff quicker since there HQ is here. how about that! midwest first then spreads to the cost!

ABC herein CT is Lin broadcasting, not sinclair. They have no deal with Lin yet.

Oh. I don't get it. Why can't they transmit the HD signal on their own. Isn't that what the local cable system is SUPPOSED to do?
