changed out 510 for 612.now my satellite won't work

I just upgraded receivers hoping to add hd to several rooms in my home.unfortunately I can't seen to make them work. They say partial signal loss...no hd at all. Any thoughts?

Did you install a separator when you put in the 612? There should've been one in the box...

Yes I did. The 510s worked great. The new receivers get a few channels but nothing local and no hd

PM a DIRT team member so they can look over your account and make sure everything is correct and maybe re-authorize the receivers.

What dish and lnb's do you have?

Sounds like u need to call customer service and have ur receiver activated and a hit sent for programming. You definatey need the hit sent. Might also try pulling the card out waiting about ten sec and put it back in.

What markings are on the lnb's, no marking is Legacy, DP is DishPro and DPP is DishProPlus. In order to use the Separator, your lnb's need to be DPP. Did you switch out the receiver or did you split off the line coming in from the 510 to more than one receiver? Did you call Dish to activate the new receiver?
