yes, in O&O markets plus certain other markets that sign on

edit: could be on any channel in markets outside the CBS Owned and Operated markets

Thanks - I always liked CBS not having the subchannels - but since they added Decades a couple of year ago and this being another subchannel, we will continue to see the pristine picture quality of their sports broadcasts decrease. Granted, they still look great, but not as good when there were no subchannels.

Why did CBS not have it as a CBS branded channel like CBS Living or something like they have CBS News/Sports HQ? Where will CBS get programming for this channel?
ABC are in the process of getting rid of Live Well Network while CBS are launching a lifestyle channel. Why are ABC axing Live Well Network it's still going in some areas isn't it?

I know that the main ABC own and operated channels still have Live Well. Here in Chicago, it is no longer in HD, it is a SD subchannel because channel 60 is sharing the same frequency and it is an HD channel. I thought that Live Well was going to be going away when the channel sharing started, but that is not the case. Still going strong here. I know Live Well isn't making any new original programming and is only carried in about 20% of the country now, but have not heard when or if they will be turning of that channel for the last 20% of the country.

I Rather want to see CBS news full time on 24/7 FTA satellite or OTA IMHO! Why news channel has to be pay services all time?

There got to be someones willingly to contributed their full time News channel on FTA KU band satellite TV service or FTA Over The Air on VHF and UHF bands!:):bounce:bow

ABC, CBS and NBC have all launched free linear streaming channels. CBS also have their free sports news channel. You'd think one of them would launch as an OTA subchannel also? Wouldn't it give them extra coverage and access for people? They have the feed ready to go. Are there some streaming restrictions where they can't broadcast OTA also? If not why wouldn't they?
