Carbonite backup and IOS 7

Does any testing IOS 7 use carbonite backup?

If so my question is does it backup in the background?

Currently you need to have the app launched and open to backup video/pics.

I haven't been able to get Carbonite to work properly with the GM iOS 7. Every time I try to register more then 1 iOS device it replaces the other device registered (example: I register my iPhone 5 then register my iPad 3 and the iPhone vanishes and is replaced with the iPad 3). What's funny is all the iPhone pictures move under the iPad's backup even though they aren't physically on the iPad.

?They best fix the problem before Wednesday or a lot of people aren't gonna be happy.
