I have a Direct TV DVR. As an older person, I frequently need to use captions, but sometimes I don't. In order to switch captions on or off it takes at least 16 clicks on the remote. I have emailed Direct TV several times hoping that they could change to software to make it easier and quicker. Has anyone else found this to be a problem?

On the HR20's (and possible the HR21?), they are currently testing a new quick access to CC that's only 2-3 button clicks, so DirecTV is aware of the problem. I suspect that this testing release will go national sometime shortly after the holidays.
