Cancelled

Ok guys, back off.

People often post when they leave, if you don’t like the threads, simply ignore them.

No need to turn it into a personal attack fest.

I don’t think the comments were entirely directed at raven316, more in that so many former dish subscribers do like to revisit this site and most definitely whine. I try to ignore them most of the time. That said, different strokes for different folks. I hope it works out for raven. As I have said frequently, I’ll not be trying to teach my better half new remotes and procedures...Lol

A couple of Hopper3 features keeps me with them but I'm getting closer to Dumping Dish TV...Good-Luck!

Short of cancelling I can definitely see myself on the welcome pack in the not so distant future.

These 'I Cancelled' threads usually turn into DISH bashing threads or 'I quit DISH and you should too' threads, which hardly seems appropriate for the 'DISH Network Support Forum'. They seem to go against the very spirit of the forum and I'm sure they aren't appreciated by the majority of the DISH loyalists that frequent this forum. In fact they seem to be exactly the opposite of 'DISH Network Support'.

Maybe these threads could be posted or moved to the appropriate forums. For example this thread praises Youtube TV so doesn't it really belong in the Cord Cutter's forum?

I’ll be joining the statistic tomorrow. At exactly 9:30 tonight my hopper 3 bit the dust. It can see the hybrid lnb, and it runs the switch test flawlessly, but for whatever reason it doesn’t want to lock onto a satellite for more than a few seconds. The wally works fine on the same cable. It is just time, losing the fox regional sports was a hard blow, but waiting 2 weeks for another hopper is the final nail.

I get the 2 week thing, but we're slammed. Techs in our office are working 6 days a week and I'm not seeing the house til after 8PM on average. And this is nationwide. Winter was the slowest I'd ever seen and now we're the busiest I've ever seen

WOW!...I would've thought with the heavy cord-cutting that installs/repairs would be slow. Glad to hear business is Good.

My dads hopper 3 was hit by lightning last week. Dish sent him a new one in a day. Took 5 minutes to hook up . Stuff happens if you’re hopper broke that sucks but it’s only tv and a couple of days won’t kill you. Go outside catch a tan smell the flowers grab a few beers and wait for the ups truck to drop off your new shiny hopper. Its going to be okay.

Are you kidding me!!

If they’re too busy, they may take any opportunity to decline. From what I read here, they aren’t supposed to go on roofs anymore. My dish is at the highest peak on my roof, and it and the LNB will need to be replaced.

I’d feel better if the guy was more interested in getting paid for a job than finding an excuse to move on to the next one. And maybe get home in time for supper.

I don’t want the dish relocated. I’d have to run my lines to a new head location. I’m not going to allow coax hanging off my outside walls. I have always bought and run my own coax.
