can i use ps3 as external hard drive??

Hello, was wondering if i could use my ps3 as xternal hard drive with my vip 211 with the latest software and activation from e?????and the procedure for doing so ?? would make a nice recorder......

No, you cannot. When you connect an external hard drive to the 211 it reformats it (which would make the PS3 unusuable).
