I am about to install 1000.4 eastern arc dish with the lnb that is one piece with 3 lnbs built into the lnb. The lnb has four connectors on the lnb. 3 output connectors and one lnb in connector.
I also ordered the dish 500+ dish kit from my local retailer but when I opened the boxes at home it has the lnb that you can receive the signal from 110 118.7 and 119 in one lnb. It is not like the usual lnb that only gets the signal from 118.7 and 119. This lnb also has the 3 output connectors and the 1 lnb in connector.
My question is whether I can use the output from the 118.7 lnb plugged into the input of the 1000.4 lnb and receive the signal from 61.5, 72, 77 and also the 118.7 and then only run 1 wire from the 1000.4 lnb out to my VIP722 receiver and 1 wire from the out of the 1000.4 lnb to my VIP222 receiver.
I am worried that the lnb in connector on the 1000.4 dish will not accept only the signal from the 118.7 and will have problems because it will see 110 118.7 and 119 satellites. I know that normally the lnb in connector can only accept a signal from only one satellite position.
The reason I need this type of setup is because I need 61.5 for HD signal of my local channels from the Burlington, VT DMA which I think are only on 61.5 and I need the 118.7 for my Greek international channels which according to dish will be removed from 61.5 at some point in the near future.
Does anyone know if this is possible.
