Currently I have 2 dishes on my house (Standard and HD). I want to add the Winegard Sensar Batwing to try and pick up HD locals. Can I still use a Diplexed set up with 2 dishes? I want to avoid running another wire if at all possible...

Also, anyone know of anyone in the central CT area that could install this antenna for me for a reasonable price? Dish won't touch it...

If your stations are nearby and strong, diplexing can work, but best case is run two lines.

Are you sure you want to use a batwing?

There are much better alternatives out there.

That is why they won't touch them ya know.

I'm in a similar situation. I'm running a diplexer but want to know if I can add a pre-amp like the Channel Master 7778. If I do, do I connect to the actual OTA feed (prior to the first diplexer) or prior to the TV, as designed (after the second diplexer). Currently I have a Channel Master 3679 antenna on about a 25' mast and I live approx. 50 miles from the area tower farm.
Thanks for the input.

I would run a new cable from 3679 to your rec. (no diplexers) without the diplexers you may not need the amp. If you still need the amp no problem.
Diplexers reduce signal.
