Winegard HD8200U will cover your need for VHF HI & LO and UHFAny recomendations for a VHF HI and UHF combination ? Do you recommend a seperate booster, if yes what kind ?
Thanks
He really wouldnt need VHF LO
5 is the original station but they have a translator on 29 at the same location. Since it shows decent numbers on the tvfool he could use that instead

I bought this http://www.solidsignal.com/pview.as..._campaign=PJ_AFF&utm_medium=AFF&utm_source=PJ specifically for channel 5. It even picks up extremely well for uhf. It is lightweight & can fit on a 1 5/8 dish mast. It's just an awesome antenna & the price is right.
