Hello, I have a VIP722k dual receiver with tv1 on the receiver and tv2 in another room. I have a VIP612 solo receiver on another tv. I want tv2 attached to the tv on the solo receiver - basically swap the 2 receivers. I contacted Dish technical service and they said I needed a technician to do this (for $50). They said that I need to disconnect the 2 receivers and have them moved to the tv where I want them, so disconnecting the receivers must not be a huge deal. Is there any reason why I cannot reconnect them myself? Are there other adjustments the technician has to make?

Thanks In Advance For Any Help

That is depending on if there are no diplexers in the system.. If there is then it is a bit more then that.. And you do need a tech out..

If you want to try and set this up on your own you are more than welcome to. We have wiring diagrams to assist you at 622 family and if you are having issues after setting everything up, fee free to send me a PM with your phone or account number so I can assist you further. Thanks!
