Can I split cable for a dual tuner PVR

Hello,
I would like to install a dual tuner PVR at my house but I cannot run two cables from the Satellite to me TV (dont want to make a hole in the wall) . So I would like to run one cable, split it, then install one in the first tuner and another in the second.

I realize that satellite cable signal is different then standard cable tv. Can I use some sort of amplifier to reproduce the signal and boost it?

please advise

If you have DishPro+ lnbs and receivers you can use a separator, but not a splitter.

It has to be DIshPro PLUS...not DishPro to be able to use the separator
