I picked up a 1.2 M elongated dish with a Tri LNBF (DirecTv) and an Echostar DP301 (Dish Network) receiver. The question is can I hook them up and get them to see/work with each other. This is for a FTA setup.
I would like to be able to catch FTA signals, and since I am new to the field my ideas are probably not in line yet. I have been researching for about a week to find some answers as far as if the equipment is compatiable and am just beginning to see that it appears to be propritary. I have a Dtv dtahkaku LBNF that appears to be set for 101/110/119 but is marked 101/103/105 and has two addinal f fitting stamped 110 and 119 along with four unmarked f fittings. I assume that the unmarked are the outputs for the sat recvr's. I am unsure if the LBNF is tuned to Dtv freq and will ignore others there by elimiating the ability to receive FTA. I have not a clue as to the two marked ports and what thier purpose is. -- I have babled enough.
