Can I get Hartford CT locals?? if I live closer to NYC?

Im in Fairfield County CT....

Any chance they'd give me Hartford locals? Does anyone have this? or does the whole state of CT get NYC locals?

Only Fairfield co. gets NYC, in Conn. as it is part of the NYC DMA. If I were you I would keep NYC and put up antenna to bring in Hartford and get best of both
worlds.

can My vip622 recieve hartford stations over an antenna and have them show up in the channel guide?

Or would have I have to have the regular antenna on another tv input?

Yes and Yes. Until the analog signals are taken down, you can have the HD on the 622 (including the guide if you subscribe to your local package). Any sd tv will have analog.
