Can I get all HD this cheap in Direct Pkg?

Thinking about trying Direct out leaving Dish.
I still have cable and only realy want is HD

Online it appears I can get HD for 39.95 a month for first 3 months then another 4.99 more for HD after three months

I cant continue with Dish this cheap

Also I told my local installer I only want ONE dish he said if I dont want local SD channels I can use just the 7 lnb dish does that sound right?
Here I know for locals we must have that second dish( dont need it get locals via cable and Qam tuner)

Does the below look right Direct will let you add HD pkg to their low end Family pkg? Free HD receiver

DIRECTV® HD EXTRA PACK $0.00 after 3 months i pay only 4.99

OOPS I found a problem example with only the Family PKG it doesnt have CNN so even though I pay 9.99 then the 4.99 for HD I would not get CNN HD is that right I have to have the channel in my basic pkg if it has SD then I can have it in HD?

At this time, that is correct. You will get the HD versions of the channels that you get in SD. Also, there will be a HD pack that includes the HD channels that don't have a SD counterpart (like HDNet) that will eventually cost extra.

You are correct. You won't get the HD channel if your package does not have the SD version.
