New member here, didn't find any "other provider" forum, so I hope this is okay here

I've always been interested in bringing a satellite system from south of the border home to get the channels that the big dish guys don't offer here at home.

Would I have any issues setting it up here? Any links or tips as far as setting and the like?

Any and all information is appreciated :)

Hello @Jays4Life, I made a littile research over the interenet and found this Yahoo Question & & Answer.

There jorgeqba recommend you to:

1. Subscribe to Sky Mexico
2. Find the payment method for paying your satellite Sky Mexico bills
3. Take you equipment to US (actually it depends where you are)

Btw, it answered around 3 year ago, may be someones have a more fresh information?

As well as I found Sky Mexico in USA thread here, but it looks like nobody answered to him.

You can google in site:satelliteguys.us Mexico SKY in US they are a lot of threads. Btw, in which state do you live?

If you don´t have an address in Mexico and or if you don´t want to carry the receiver back to the US (considering maybe the dish used down south won´t be useful i.e. you may need a larger one), you might as well simplify your life by arranging to sub to Sky from your home in the US.

Some people have reported using Sky Milenio with good results, check their website below

I am not sure if this is directly helpful to you, however I do know of a service that allows you to pay your Skytv bill, view your statement/balance, etc. from anywhere in the world. If you are able to bring your Skytv satellite with you, it would be possible to continue making payments through Regalii.com directly to the Sky provider in the country you are bringing it from without any payment issues. From mexico specifically, the link is https://www.regalii.com/en/mexico/sky and I strongly recommend checking their services out. (I have only good things to say about this business).

Best of luck wherever your journeys take you!

Does this sound right?
