C61K with HR54 genie

Can only record one 4K program at a time. Any way to be able to record more?

Do you mean in 4k? If so, only one at a time. You should be able to record 5 in hd.

If you replace the HR54 with an HS 17 then you can record two at a time.

But there are other variables to changing to a HS17 ...
Mainly, you can't use any of your (potentially) other recvrs ...
They have to be changed out to Clients.

I've been able to record two 4k programs before but those were rare instances or a glitch. I think it was when I had a manual 4k recording. It only happened twice and I am unable to record two 4k programs most of the time. I probably will switch to the HS17 sometime this year before the Olympics.

I only have the HS54 and the C61K, so no clients to worry about?

Your good as long as your not using any of the older type recvrs, HR versions.

As for what feed I am going to watch ...

I will watch the 4k version on channel 105 and probably the National broadcast as well depending on how the 4k version is looking.
