C61k vs RVU

nist bought a Sony 75 inch x940e.
It has RVU built in.
Is there any advantage or disadvantage in using the RVU vs using the c61k client?
The TV is 4K, but does the RVU support 4K?

Yes RVU supports 4K. And its basically like having a C61K but its built into the TV.

In fact when I look at my client list on my HR54 it shows my RVU being a C61.

Early RVU sets were slow, however present day RVU cients are about the same speed on the C61K.

A disadvantage is that now you’re counting on Sony to keep the client software up to date. Also when a problem occurs DIRECTV can say its a Sony problem and Sony can say its a DIRECTV problem.
