*C or Bev South of the border

The folks plan on traveling from Van throughout the US in the Winnebago and plan on camping out in our driveway for a few months (oh what fun) in Los Angeles.

They have a small hi def TV in the monster. Will they be better off with Bev or *C considering the N3 no signal issue? I looked at a map for F2 and it doesn't seem to cover LA... does the signal get this far south? Does the N2 at 82o reach LA?

Nimiq 1 (91) will cover LA
Nimiq 2 (82) will cover LA
Nimiq 3 (91) will NOT cover LA

StarChoice works in LA on both satellites.

I believe E2 had a bad footprint, but F1 and F2 have the same footprint.. I have not been able to find a footprint map for F2 yet.
