LNB Servo
White=Pulse
Red=+5 volts
Black=GND

Arm thick wires=Power to the motor(polarity may need to be changed if the dish moves the wrong direction).

Arm small Wires
Black is likely GND
Blue and yellow for the sensor,

this is what i have

this is what i have where do i put the wires ?

i have a front pic and back where the wire are going

ok on page 4 in the manual
is says
16a) the +5 VCD (thats the first one on the botton left ) is for the servo motor == (Red wire)
16b) pulse ( looks like the top hat) provides the control signal for the servo motor ==(White wire)
16c) gnd for grounding the servo motor == ( usually a black wire)
16d) c/ku v/h this terminal provides +12/0 vdc or +5/0 vdc to a external switch for dual c band lnb or a c'ku lnbf selection ( you probably won't use this one)

ok on page 3 of the manual

the top row of connectors from the left the first two are for the big wires black & red)
they are marked #13 in the book

14) is the third one from the left is for ANT ( actuator sensor) this supplies +5 volts for reed sensors. ( green or blue)

15) GND is the grnd for the reed switch (orange or yellow)

hope this helps

thanx that was great !

i did hook up it right then

no picture just snow i reset the arc and it counts down
and nothing the dish does not move when i put my sat meter on the feed horn it show a signal of 6x10 when i go 500' no signal in the house
like it was not even there but when i check power from the ird power 5x9 volts from the ird in the house 500' away my meter range is from 950-2150mhz shows power no picture when i move the dish a little bit i can see my meter move a 1-2 marks do i need a inline amp ?
or is the head bad? the blue cup was cracked on the head but every thing is other wise good shape any ideas ??? it would be help full i'm doing this from scratch my cable that i'm using is rg6 when i check power from the reciver out side by the dish from the cable line i have power

500' is going to be a challange. when your at the dish ( and setup withthe receiver ) can you get a channel picture ? a signal amp would increase everything including noise so it probably won't help with any power not getting to the dish.

is this a new install or a moved dish
is it setup & pointed at a satellite.

i haven't hooked up my nextwave ncc500 but once and didn't get to the setup menu.
do you have a dvb receiver or just the analog one ( nextwave ncc600 )

a check of the lnbf at the dish ( and a photo ) main thing is to try setting up at the dish to tune with , to get a picture once you have this , then try in the house ( 500 ft away).

i did check at the dish my meter is good singla
this is a new install the dish has all ready been planted all ready
the reciver is dvb Ku/C with vcr in it nextwave ncc600
i know at 500' is no big deal with cable tv or luds little ugly dish systems
i relly did't think that 500' was a big deal it is a stright run 2 breaks in the line
i can get inline amps
when going to the house i get no signal from the dish on my meter at the bud yes 6x10 peak

i don't think the nextwave ncc600 is a dvb receiver. its a c/ku analog receiver

with the vcrs module installed it will receive analog and videocipher channels ( most of these will probably report "not authorized" until you have a subscription)

the satbuddy 2 can detect a signal but its possible that it is a signal that this receiver can't receive

i don't know what satellite your pointed at and suspect the satbuddy 2 can see several different signals even dbs and those signals are strong.

if you are showing signal at dish and not in the house then suspect either :
1) too long of a run
2) bad connection ( check at one or both of the breaks in the run) also check coax ends

this was why i suggested tuning the channel with the receiver at the dish , that way you can locate a satellite with a analog channel and tune it in. then goto the house and see if you can receive it there.

as for in line amp , here is a recent thread on the subject
