C 3 channel 7

I have a quick question,
When I removed the dish to set up at my house, I left it on sat C3 channel 7 (CNN I believe), to hopefully make setup easier. I've been looking through lyngsat and dishpointer to see where this satellite might be. Has the name changed or do they reference it by another name now? Can't seem to find the location of it, any ideas? I'm still confused by all of this.

I think you mean C-Span and thats on 131W

Oops, your right, I think it was C-Span come to think of it.

Try to start with G 17 G1 133w as it has 3 analog channels left.

G15 is at 133W and was formerly G1
G17 is at 91W replaced G11 (known as GB in the 4DTV guides)

I thought Galaxy 15 was drifting and [FONT=&quot]Galaxy 12 is now at 133° W and listed as (G1)
on the 4dtv receivers.

ahh cripes thats right. This is why some of us like to use the orbital slot

Ever since 4dtv with it's limited memory and obsolete satellite names it has made a mess of things.
