Buying a 811..

Just called E* and asked what the warranty on a 811 was from them or a local rep. Was told it was one year.

Then I asked what was the warranty on a 811 purchased off eBay. Was told I could put it under the protection plan for $5.99 a month.

Good buy off eBay plus the added cost of $72.00 a year VS a new unit. What's the best way to go?

you don't need the protection plan on it all the time. just add it if there is ever a problem. get the 811 the cheapest way you can

it must work, because alot of people talk about it. if it broke i would add the plan then wait a couple of weeks then call about it.

If you're a new customer or have been with dish for more than a year you can lease an 811
