Just a heads up for those of you living in brevard county....they are currently in the process of switching over all of their services to QAM256.
Most of you, and myself including thought it was already at this state. Its not. Some of you folks that have the older cable modems will not run in 256 state. (toshiba 1000's, and ive heard the motorola's 2100 and 3100).
What does this mean for you? nothing much really. It does help some of the lower channels, if you have a cable box. Its more intune for the digitial channels, hd channels, cable modem services and VOIP (telepone services)
If you have any problems latley, be sure to get on the phone with BHN and give them a call. Their turning on sections of cities a month at a time. Of course fixing all the problems that arise when they do this. Finally a smart move! a little piece at a time.
