Brett Coming Back!

He is still top 10 in the league. Pack will be back baby.
In about 3 or 4 years but it wont be Bret. They need to cut the cord and let their draft pick QB get some experience. All they are doing is delaying the pain of a really poor season but sooner or later they will have to go through with it.

Deep down you can't seriously think the Packers are going to the Superbowl next year do you?

Your team is in the same division as the Bears, they can't beat the Bears, there not good enough they need good players.

And what good free agent really wants to play in Green Bay, once Reggie White left they have done nothing.

We went 4-12 last year with Sherman and now 8-8 this year with new guy and have very young team which should get better with another year in weight room. 25 mil in cap room and the 16th pick will add some more pieces. They have rebuilt as this will be Thompson 3rd draft and now will only get better for next several seasons and their youth matures. Favre still gives them the best chance to win games and he can still play.

Woodson was pretty good and it is all about the cash. Don't sell the the packer short. Their facilities are exceptional, they spend money, and have no dickhead owner to stick his fat ass in the mix. They also have better chance of getting FA's with Favre than without him.

I was suprised to see Brett come back, and glad at the same time, at least the Lions have a chance to beat the Pack if Brett is the QB.

I think that the Pack are not set on Rogers as the QB. I would not be suprised to see them use a high draft pick on a QB this year as well.

Troy Smith and AJ. Hawk back together again ???

The sooner they cut the strings the sooner they can win. Bret is not what he used to be, he will not see the playoffs again no matter what you put around him.
If he can go 8 - 8 then good for him but he's more of a novelty act now than anything else. Every down he plays is a down wasted when a younger QB could be gaining experience.

It is Lambeau man...it is football. they have suites, club seating, restaurants etc also but it has something no other artificail crap has....tradition. Like Wrigley or does it suck too?

I saw the last Steelers and Browns game at the old Cleveland stadium, yes it had tradition but I don't care how much tradition a stadium has if it sucks.

If I want to sit on bench seats I'll watch a high school football game.

I'm sure Lambeau and all the tradition is nice and all but I like these stadiums.

This will just prolong thier absence from the playoffs. I like Brett, but the sooner they cut the cord to Brett and get a younger QB in there the sooner he can develop.

I agree, this tells me that the Pack are not set on having Rodgers as the Favre successor.

wow...where is the love?
I thinktheBroncos ar stilllooking for Elways successpor arent' they? Brett still brings more to the team with just his presence than anyone except Manning. He can still play and to sayhe holds them back from the playoffs is silly.

the latest tidbit here is they have a deal in principle on compensation, with GB sending a 3rd, a player (not Rodgers but maybe WR Ferguson), and a conditional DP next year no higher than a 2/3 range. Sounds a but much for TT to give up but Packer fans are either for Moss coming here or really really against it.

Mainly because of this
