Bought a TIVO about a litlle over a year..

Bought a Phillps TIVO about a little over a year ago.

And it crap out on me. Searching sat signal. I swapped with my Dtv10 basic and it gets good signal on all 3 sat's. My question is if I sign up for the protection plan will I get a replacement. Help!

the way directv is treating customers lately you would probably get a new tivo for nothing, although it wont really be a tivo. Directv now has their own brand of boxes.
