Blurry image help

Ok this is what i ve got its a vizio gallevia 42 in 1080p , i got a dish 612 box conected via hdmi. Now this is the problem some channels look ok but most of them like unihd , the actual logo of unihd on the cornerof the tv the letters have kind of like a blurry or gost around the unihd letters and it doesnt look as sharp as other sets ive seen , now this is a refurbished tv could that be the issue? Or some settings misadjusted?

What kind of TV did you set the ViP612 to drive?

Does your TV have some sort of indicator that tells you what it is being fed?

Do other sources look as you would expect?

Check to see if your tuner is set to outpout 1080i. Sounds like it is set on 480

How is the image quality on OTA channels? Do you have an antenna to try?
How about DVD or any other video source?
If you try different sources, perhaps you will be able to figure out if the problem is specific to the 612 box, rather than the TV set.

over the air all channels are on sd i will try to re orient the antenna to the only hd channel which is pbs if not ill compare the quality using other inputs than the 612vip and report
