I'll have to give it a try with my HDR SR12. I'll connect the SR12 to the PS3 to see if it can get the files from the SR12 Hard drive to the PS3 hard drive. Then try to play them from the PS3 drive, since I don't have a gigabit ethernet What I was questioning is your claim to be streaming the files "over the internet"

As for the transfer of HDR SR12 files to the PS3, I have only a wired LAN ethernet here which is, I believe 100kbps.

Ooops I meant ethernet not internet. I stream over my house ethernet. Sorry for the confusion

Reading this thread at Avs has me wanting to put together one for myself (doesn't have to be 1080p... I have some of the old "demo" Dvd discs from a few years back...

If you currently have VideoReDo you can upgrade to then new H264 suite... Getting started with VideoReDo TVSuite V4 with H.264 - VideoReDo MPEG Editor Forums , I downloaded the trial and just upgraded as I have always enjoyed VideoReDo for Mpeg2 editing...
