Black dishes

Why do they show new toys off at TS but never release them to the public?

I believe one purpose for summit is for them to show what they are working on and to get opinions from various other sources on ideas and improvements.

Black or not, I am going to hate when we run out of 1000.2's. We bought a 6 month supply when we heard that it was being replaced by the 1000.4. The 1000.4 is a bulky p.o.s., unnecessarily large, heavy and overengineered, needing a more complicated mounting structure. Just more work for us installers at no more pay (meaning a pay cut) again.

Sorry, had to gripe for a minute.

Maybe that's it. I bet when these new dishes are installed on the roof, they will be "stealthy" and you won't be able to really see them...Meanwhile, Charlie probably has a plan incorporating Hughes Satellite and Blockbuster to secretly monitor and send out subliminal messages making subs order more PPV and VOD, to all Dish subscribers using these new dishes...!

Or, maybe, I just have too much time on my hands...

That's going to clash with the colors of alot of homes. While I like the look, I dont think the change is practicle. Black dish against a white house.... Not on mine buddy!

I agree, Palin would look a lot better than Michelle esp in a bikini.
