Birddog meter

The input port on my birddog meter is worn badly; can this be repaired and if so how.

What model birdog do you have?

If your meter is out of warranty, or if you don't care if you void it, open it up and swap the output/input adapters on the inside. All the connectors on the chassis are, are extensions that connect to the tuner on the inside. You'll see exactly what I'm talking about if you open it up.

I did this two days ago. Fixed me right up where I never use the output side.

Thanks for the info I bought in 2004 so I am not worried about the warranty I don,t install any more just for my self and close friends, again thanks.
