Let me get this straight. They show infomercials then they do a bingo segment where they give away what they just advertised as a prize. Is that what you got out of it Scott?
As of this afternoon, BINGO TV is uplinked to channel 104 at 110°. This is actually a mirror of the ETC3 channel 9983, a closed circuit Dish channel. So it looks like no additional bandwidth is being used.
Perhaps they could have a slew of channels where they advertise on them and use some of the profits for prizes, having free games. That would attract a lot of new people to satellite. Or perhaps make you watch/view so many commercials for a period of time to get tokens to use to play the games or pay to play them.
I really don't understand why this contest is void in Connecticut. Since there is nothing to buy it is not a lottery, it's no worse then getting a contest game entry form from a box of cerial.
BTW I still find it interesting that on the Demo Game they are giving away Sirius service and hardware as a prize.
