Recently my old RCA lldigitall broad band modem I bought from Amazon 100 yrs ago gave it up after comcast cable went down in my block and they tried to recover. Mysteriously that's when my internet problems started that was traced to my modem being faulty (as the CS put it)I'm not complaining a lot because it payed for itself 100 fold in rent. I went to my local CS Desk and was issued a UBEE D.30 that seems to be much faster. I opted not to get the latest modem:router because my WIFI has been running very well after installing a new Linksys stand alone router. I also have two WIFI medium streamers that would have needed to be reconfigured. I also have a Vonage phone modem. that works great.
Is there a way to measure signal speed and if so what numbers would be fast, slow, medium etc etc?
