Best currently avail DTV receiver?

For a non-DVR HD receiver, H24 is the only way to go.

if all you use is HDMI sometimes size (smaller) does matter
H24 Dimensions: Width 12.5" Height 1.8" Depth 9.4" Weight 6 lbs.
DIRECTV H25 Reciever Dimensions: Width 8.66" Height 1.12" Depth 5.75" Weight 1.19 lbs.

Like I said somewhere else in this forum, the only advantage I see to the H25 is if you want to use the UHF remote and conceal it behind a HDTV between the TV and the wall mount.

As a STB to actually be sitting out and seen, I think it's ugly and early 2000's looking compared to the H24.
