Set-up:
1 Hughes DVR in living room
1 Plain D10 reciever in BR....hasn't been used in 6 months due to a suspected bad cable run.

Problem:
Ran a new RG6 cable to D10 today. When the cable is hooked up (thru Eagle MS44D multiswitch) I lose several channels (sat1, I think) in the livingroom.

I am guessing a bad multiswitch.

Could it be anything else?

BTW, all channels work on the bedroom D10 when connected.

Sometime, if a small piece of silver wire touch the center conductor of the cable from the connector, you get weir things like this.

It could also be a bad reciever, try taking the reciever that isnt gettin all programming to the location where the reciever is getting programming. This will tell you either the reciever is bad, or the port in the multi is shorted.
