Hello all,

I hope this is not a repeat post, I tried to search around but did not see it. I'm new to this site, so bear with me.

I am currently backing up my recordings from my 622 to an external USB drive. My 722 is being installed tomorrow and I would really hate having to manually configure my ~100 timers. Does anyone know of a way to back this configuration up and restore it to the 722? I am able to use a USB drive and I also have the 622 attached to my home LAN.

By the way, I was able to get an upgrade to the 722 for $75. I did the live chat with tech support on the dishnetwork site and let them know that I was having hardware issues with the 622 (which I was - no scam here) and he made a notation on my account that I could get the upgrade for $75 instead of $125. Just a tip for anyone interested.

Thanks all.

if you had one of the new remotes you could backup the configuration to it, then restore to the new receiver.
