AZBox Elite hangs up on loading

  • Server Issues.

    We are very aware that there have been system issues the past few days. In troubleshooting the system, it has been determined that the issue is at our provider and is hardware related. As of 12:05 PM ET our provider has moved us to a new server.

    Things seem to be running better on this new server. However in trying to diagnose the issue (before finding out it was a hardware issue) we made some system changes which we need to undo. So if you find any issues or errors please let us know in the Operations Center Forum.

SUCCESS !!!!
After almost non-stop searching, came across a tread that saved the day!
By waiting for the CHECKING sequence in the boot process and pressing the
OK key several times....a MENU screen showed up on the TV.
I almost passed-out ;)
This gave me a choice of update methods. Used USB and the file suggested by Lak7 earlier in this thread. About 25 minutes later the box is back up and working like new. WOW...
Gonna take small steps with the rest of the setup process so it doesn't get messed up again.

I got my Azbox today and after five minutes had the same problem: hangs during loading. Before this happened I tried to setup the video output.

Thanks to your post I successfully accessed the upgrade menu and the box is working again!:clap

After receiving so much support here it's nice to know my experience with the AZBox has been helpful.
