Not even related to AzBox.

Az Fox is a IKS box from the South American market that was produced to play off the popularity of the AzBox name in the theft of services game.

Unless it supports a USB or RS232 adapter, I don't even see an ethernet port on the Az Fox. Are you thinking of some of the goofy AZbox models like the Bravissimo and the Moozca?

Not confused about the model. I am very familiar with the product as it was offered to us for testing last year. These receivers have been sold in South America with IKS support for over a year.

Google: rs232, satellite, IKS, Az Fox.

RS232 satellite dongle IKS is much more popular in South America than Internet. Quite interesting reading!

Homer: Look at these low, low price on famous name-brand electronics!
Bart: Don't be a sap, Dad. These are just crappy knock-offs!
Homer: Pfft! I know a genuine Panaphonics when I see one! And look, there's Magnetbox and Sorny!

the name and the logo are undoubtedly meant to mislead people
i would recommend spending your hard earned cash on something else.

No disrespect to any site members who are associated w/ WSI here but I wouldnt touch any of their products with a 30 foot pole.

Cheers, K

OK so I've got some WSI DMX LNBFs that have been good to go, and, I will buy another to replace one that got zapped recently by a storm. But that's not WSI's fault. I've had good service from those LNBFs and they deliver about the same quality on both my BIG DISH systems as the Chaparrals did at a fraction of the cost?;)

So I blind scan in 91C. Go to watch reelz video but no audio hum check settings try different hdmi cable no audio. I then hook analog LR still nothing at this point I'm think it's must not do DD so I go to arts and bam audio. This is off to great start.

it has to do dolby digital. Alot (maybe all) of the S2 has dolby digital audio.

Per the specs you posted in post 1
Audio Decoding MPEG-1 Layer 1 & 2, Dolby Downmix

check in the menus to see if there is anything

wait a minute...scratch that. Notice the SPDIF output on the picture? Maybe it doesnt decode it internally. I remember thew Sathawk originally didnt do that either (software late on added that option where it was decoded internally)

Yup that's what's going on here to.

When I connect to my denon sound works on DD ch's. (Have to switch to BS Out on digital audio out under TV System in menu)
