Hi I hung a 1000.4 with a 722 best signal I could get was about 60 across all three birds (eastern arc) I am in michigan. Is that normal? I'm getting rain fade.
Thanks
Joe

I'm in central Arkansas and the best I get is the upper 40's on 72 and 77 and mid 30's on 61.5. Rain fade isn't too bad though, considering the numbers.

I am also in central Arkansas and I'm getting low to mid forties on my 622 on all three of the 1000.4 sats. 61.5 is the lowest.

I'm in southeast Texas , 90miles from Houston , and I'm getting low 40s to mid 40s on both 72.7 and 77 sats. I am getting various signals on the 61.5 sat from 40 and up to high 50s. I also installed myself and did the additional peaking procedures with the azmiuth cam which improved the signal on my 61.5 sat . I say it is now comparable to what I was getting strength wise with my side sat dish for 61.5 , I had previous. I also have a dish 1000.2 sat dish that I used an adapter for the single dual lnbs , that I got from the dishstore.net for 9.99 . I use it now for just the 129 sat , but could use it for either 110 or 119 depending on where I connect the coax to. It gets strong signals on the 129 . I get most of my hd channels off of 129 now except for my hd locals , which are on 61.5 sat.

I'm in Northern IN with 50-60 across all three birds. We get a lot of lake effect rain which comes in very heavy with dense clouds and I haven't experienced any fade yet.

The 1K4 is actually performing better than my 1K2 did in the rain. Seems the look angle and elevation works better at my location then that of the 1K2
