Audio No Pic

Hi All,

Im here from Aus helping to setup a frineds HD setup.

Now they have a 6000 with a 8PSK I installed today hooked up to a HD TV via component and a reciever via optical.

Now my problem is that the Showtime HD channel 9430 shows no Picture but does output DD sound which is perfect. Also all other channels are still 4:3 I thought they would be in 16:9??

Am I missing something??

Do you need to subscribe to the HP package to get this channel.

It must be connected by component or VGA out and the blue light must be on for HD... the orange light is sd which outputs to the S-video outputs....

but you are getting other Hd? If you get sho, you get the HD version too (after calling E*)

The system is connected via component cables and yes the satellite reciever is set to HD output in 1080i.

I can watch channelles the problem is that the HD channels give audio no pic, and I want to know if there are free HD chanels or if they have to be bought as part of the HD pack??

or if there is something else wrong?
