Audio dropouts with USB storage. Please help.

Hi All,
I have a program stored on my WD hard drive. All was ok but recently one program in particular has developed audio dropouts. I tried rebooting both the disk drive and receiver with no luck. I was thinking about restoring it but don't want to in case it doesn't fix the dropouts. Any ideas? Other recorded programs work fine.

I have a 722 and a WD 500gb drive

You are going to have to restore to see if there is an issue with the ehd or the 722. I don't think you are hearing actual file damage, just a processing issue.

I restored my one program and the dropouts remain

How do you "restore" the program?

Sounds like a receiver problem. How hot is it getting? Audio problems are common with a HOT receiver.

When you select a program on the EHD menu, the first button on the new menu is RESTORE.
