I have a Terk 4x8 that I'm using with the oval 3 LNB dish. It works great and I have no problems.

I'm thinking of upgrading to the new AT9/Mpeg 4 dish. Will it be compatible with my Terk?

probably not. the at9 needs a multiswitch that is marked "wide band"
Correct, The AT9 dish receives the KU/KA bands and beats down the satellite frequencies to 250 mHz to 2150 mHz so it can run on coax. Only a wide-band switch can manage those very wide IF frequencies.

You need a new Zinwell WB68 6x8.

The zinwell is the only one that is made at this time......its the only one that will get the 99 and 103 satellites as of right now
