AT&T Homezone RF remote

Hello,

I have the AT&T Homezone with DishNet and so far it's been working well. My problem is the second tuner in the unit is controlled by an AT&T proprietary RF remote. I was wanting to be able to control this tuner through other means ... IR or ethernet .... so I could apply some home automation magic. Does anyone know if the second tuner in this box can be controlled by something other than the RF remote that came with it?

It cannot. It's an RF only remote for the TV2 tuner.

Bummer ... I was afraid of that. I also assume it's a proprietary RF interface (i.e. no way to spoof it with some other technology).
