Howard Stern, currently being sued by CBS for breach of contract, will visit CBS' The Late Show with David Letterman on Monday, March 13. It will be Stern's 15th appearance on the show. Producers for the Letterman show book their own guests, and Stern has been scheduled to appear on the show since January, according to a CBS representative. At that time, Stern was still on the air at CBS Radio and no lawsuit had been filed.

Stern appeared on the Fox News Channel program Hannity & Colmes on Tuesday, March 7. On that show, he defended his position in the legal proceeding and made derogatory comments about CBS CEO Leslie Moonves. Letterman will no doubt ask him about the lawsuit on the March 13 episode.

Late Wednesday, CBS issued a formal comment stating it does not interfere with guest bookings on the show. "This is a booking that had been planned by the [Letterman] show since January. Obviously, issues have risen since then, but we respect the show's editorial independence and don't intend to censor their programming decisions," read the statement.

Yep they know where part of their bread is buttered, and Dave has always been a Stern supporter and has said in the past CBS should get over it.

Arent they spinning off cbs radio into its own company? So technically he could visit CBS and it wouldnt matter.

Viacom split off CBS which contains both the tv and radio divisons.

yup, pretty funny how howard mentioned how CBS put him on letterman for ratings to sell sirius, and now he's on again when they're suing him, LMAO....
