On Tuesday, Katie Dolan's jumper just inside the foul line with 1.4 seconds left lifted the Hampton Attack to a 36-34 victory over York in the seventh- and eighth-grade girls basketball division.
Hampton outscored York 10-0 in the game's last 1:20 to pull out the improbable win.
Lara Bunce led Hampton with 10 points, while Laney Yeomelakis had a game-high 14 points for York.
"We showed a lot of heart, and the kids didn't give up," Dennis Bruce said. "Dolan had a good look and she made a great shot."

When I saw the thread title, I figured it for an AFD joke -- just not like this! I was trying not to cringe as I clicked, half-expecting some awful story made up in poor taste about James D being shot. Glad you didn't go that route. This was actually kinda amusing.
