A slow month from MonstersHD.....I wish they would show some new content.

True, but their April schedule is not out yet. Hoping for some new movies although I haven't caught up with March movies yet.

Sean, Akira Kurosawa's "Yojimbo" is anything but a comedy. It is the film from which the plot was "borrowed" for Clint Eastwood's "Fistful of Dollars." A lone Samurai comes to town and hires himself out to the highest bidder and sets one faction against another. (Incidentally, Kurosawa "borrowed" the plot from Dashlell Hammett's novel "Red Harvest" and Bruce Willis used it again for "Last Man Standing."

"Sanjuro" which plays later is a sequel to "Yojimbo." And Kurosawa's "The Hidden Fortress" (which plays on Kung Fu) is the film from which George Lucas "borrowed" the plot for "Star Wars".

Dang it. Joss Stone's SoundStage is tomorrow night at 9pm. And I'll be at a concert.:( What are the odds? I mean, I never do anything... and the one night the Heartless Bastards are gonna be in Detroit is the same night as Joss' premiere! Oh, well, hopefully they'll rerun this one incessantly.:p

wwjd?

Forgot I have a Tivo.
So while I didn't get to see it in HD..... better than nothing until I can catch a replay. Joss was cool -- did my favorites and was as cute as ever. Didn't think much of Mavis Staples personally, but she certainly doesn't suck.

Oh -- and the Heartless Bastards ROCKED Detroit last night, so I don't mind that I'll have to wait to see Miss Stone in HD.:D

I am thinking about getting Dish I am an EX voOmer.. IS voOm worth getting or as I have read that it is reruns after reruns and in HD LITE is that still true is it worth the money?? any help with this would help me make my decision…

I think the pictures are pretty clear. They do have reruns, but so does HBO. In general, I think Voom is worth the money. I like Equitar, Treasure, Rush, Monster in particular.
