Just a warning tho, initial reviews have not been good on this one. One bug so far has been that Zoom doesn't work on HD content, so if a 4:3 show is pictureboxed in 16:9, you can't zoom to full 4:3 on a standard 4:3 TV. This is pretty much a show-stopper for a SD converter box, as almost all of these boxes are going to be hooked up to a 4:3 TV!

Got any idea how the surround sound,S video and smart antenna hookup work?

The theory is, you don't have to aim the antenna. The box connected to it can "pick" the correct signal from the correct direction.

In theory, theory and practice are the same.
In practice, they aren't.

They sometimes work. Not as sensitive as other solutions, though.

So anyone having luck with this box? Is the S-Video output worth it?

Can it zoom a 16:9 windowbox (16:9 broadcast of a 4:3 SD show that is showing letterbox content) to 4:3 full-screen? I've heard conflicting reports on this.
